A trip is confirmation only after receiving the required advance deposit.
The reaming balance must be paid before the trip to departure in kathamndu .
Booking can be made by email, website. or authorized agents.
The deposit amount is usually 20%of the total trip cost.
Payments can be made by bank transfer, Cash, online payment (as applicable).
Bank transfer fees or transaction charge must be paid by clients.
Cancellation must be made in writing (email or message whatsApp SMS).
Cancellation charges: 15-30 days or more before departure: Deposit non- refundable.
The 15-30 days before departure: 50% of total cost, less than 15 days before departure: 100% of total cost.
No refund for unused service once the has started. If you cancel 45 to 60 days, before you will get full refundable.
itineraries may change due to weather, trail conditions, health issues, government rules, or safety reason.
Bal Hiking Team reserves the right to modify or cancel trips for safety reasons.
Extra costs caused by changes (helicopter, hotel, transport) are the client’s responsibility.
Travel insurance is mandatory for all Clints. Insurance must cover: High- altitude trekking Emergency helicopter rescue Medical expenses.
Clines must be physically and mentally fit for trekking /hiking. Any pre –existing medical condition must be disclose before booking.
Guides have the authority to stop or alter the trip for safety reasons.
All guides and porters are insured according to Nepal government rules.
Clients must treat staff with respect and fairness. Alcohol or drug abuse during the trip strictly prohibited.
Trekking involves inherent risk (altitude sickness , weather , landslides,). Bal Hiking Team is not responsible for: Natural disasters, political unrest, and flight delays/cancellation, personal injury , due to negligence of clients.
The company is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings. Clients are advised to keep valuable secure and insured.
Bal Hiking Team may use trip photos/ videos for promotional purposes. If clients do not agree , they must inform the company in advance.
Clients must respect Nepali laws , culture , religion , and environment . any illegal activity will result in immediately trip termination without refund .
